Pre-Engineered Buildings

Primary Main Frames

Customer needs are catered through re-engineered buildings by offering the liberty to design. DEMCC has established severaltypes of proposals to enhance economical configurations for clients. The proposals are designed in harmony to space, span, crane and architectural necessities.

Clear Span Frame

When building width is less than 25m, clear span frame will provide uninterruptedand clearwork space in the building. But when building width is more than 25m,it will not be an economical choice forthe customer.

Airport Hangers

Depending upon the number and model of aircraft, the width ofthe building structuremay vary from 30 to 110 meters.Pre-engineered building system is applied to attaina clear span of 60-meter hangers economically.Nevertheless, structuraltruss columnsystem is incorporated when the span exceeds 60-meters.

Multi Span Frame

Internal columns were introduced to permitlarger spans which did notrequire gutters and rainwater pipes. This solution enhances the bay spacing, width ofthe building and consequently the costs.

Single or multiple-span options are available in a single slope building. Additionally, columns used may vary between straight ortapered in accordance to the design needs.

Multi gable buildings maintain a low heightfor very wide buildings.

Curved roof provides with an aesthetic appearance to the exterior and interior of the building.

Roof System

The existence of concrete wall as supportto the roof system results as cost effectivesolution. Furthermore, the client achieves a greater working space. However, clients willface limitations on the span ofthe building.

Lean-to & Car Canopies

TThe structures oflean-to and car canopies can be manufactured using hot-rolled or built-up sections. As the name suggests,lean-to structures need a support structurefor the construction. These building enrichments are perfectfor expansions of buildings or vehicle parking.

Secondary End Wall Frame

The cost and weight ofthe building can be decreased merely by an end wallframewithpin connected rafter and column. Nevertheless, rigid frames should be used on theends if there is an opportunity for any future expansion along the sidewall. According to thestandards, column spacing would be 6 meters in an end wall.Hot-rolled and coldformsteel C-sections areused in production of end wall column rafter.Additionally, the secondary wall in a metal building is manufactured by the flush grit and purlins.

The bracing system in the roof and walls use bracing components such as rod andangles. The wind load is carried and transferred to the ground with the help of strut purlinandbracing in an end wallframing system. The standards ofrod diameters are 16, 20, 25 and 32 in millimetres.

Cold Form Structure

Grit and purlin from cold form Z-section are standard supporting components in walls and roof panels. According to standards the heights of Z-section and C-section rangeinbetween 125 to 300 in millimetres. Jamb, header and sill are frame’sopen members madefrom C-section.The advantages of C-sections arestated as the following:

  • Pre-galvanized raw materials are rust proof. Hence paintis notrequired.
  • There is an assurance in precise and faster supply ofthe final product as no welding is needed due to automated production.
  • Managementis made easier as the members weightless.
